1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern the relationship between HennaArt by Tasz LLC, a company at 6496 W Ipswitch Way, Herriman - 84096-3008, United States (US), and each person who visits the website, requests a session or engages the practice for a design project. By using the site or booking a session, a visitor agrees to these terms.
If a visitor does not agree with any part of these terms, the visitor should not use the site or book a session. A person who books on behalf of someone else confirms that the other person has read these terms and agrees to them.
These terms work together with the Privacy Policy that describes how records are kept. Where a separate written agreement exists for a larger project, that agreement takes priority for the project, and these terms continue to apply to everything else.
A plain summary: the bench promises careful work and honest records. The client promises to read the care guidance, arrive ready and pay for the session that was booked.
2. What the Bench Provides
The bench provides henna products and services, including cone rolling, pattern stencil preparation, stain logging, bridal sessions, practice hand sessions and end of week sealing. It also provides small documentation and computer systems design services through the professional side of the practice.
The service page describes the six rows of the bench and the general flow of a booking. The description on the site is a guide, not a fixed package. The bench may adjust the detail of a session to suit the placement, the pattern and the condition of the skin on the day.
Henna is a plant based paste that produces a temporary stain on the outer layer of skin. It is not a permanent mark, it is not a medical treatment and it does not create a tattoo. Any statement on the site about stain depth or duration describes a typical result and is not a guarantee for a particular person.
3. Eligibility and Age
A person who books a session must be at least eighteen, or must book through a parent or guardian who accepts these terms. A child session is supervised by the adult who booked it, and the adult stays within reach for the whole appointment.
A person who uses the site to send a business enquiry confirms that the person is allowed to act for the organization named in the enquiry. The bench may ask for confirmation before it discusses a project with a contact who claims to represent an organization.
The bench may decline a session where the placement or the requested pattern is not suitable for the skin, where the client is not able to follow the aftercare guidance or where the room cannot be kept safe. A declined booking is refunded in full where a payment was already taken.
4. Booking and Confirmation
A booking request is sent through the contact page, by email or by phone. A request is not a confirmed booking. The bench confirms a booking in writing after checking the row, the batch and any test patch requirement. Until that confirmation arrives, the date is not held.
The confirmation states the date, the time, the service, the placement and the amount due. A client should read the confirmation and report any error within two working days. A request to change a confirmed booking is handled under the rescheduling section below.
The bench keeps a limited number of rows open each week, because each session needs a rolled batch and a clean bench. A client who needs a specific date should send the request as early as possible, and a bridal block should be requested six to eight weeks before the event where the calendar allows.
5. Test Patch and Skin Suitability
A first time client receives a small test patch at least a week before the main session. The patch is applied to a small area of skin and left to develop. The client reports any reaction, and the bench decides whether the main session can proceed.
A test patch does not eliminate all risk. A reaction may appear later or in a different place, and a client should tell the bench about any known allergy, skin condition or recent sensitivity before the session. The bench may ask the client to consult a qualified health professional before proceeding.
The bench does not apply paste to broken skin, to a recent wound, to skin that is sunburned or to an area with an active rash. The bench may move a pattern to a nearby area or decline the session where the skin is not suitable. The decision is made for the safety of the client, and it is not a reflection on the requested design.
6. Arrival and Preparation
A client should arrive on time with clean, dry skin and no lotion, oil or sunscreen on the area to be stained. A product on the skin can block the paste and produce a patchy result. The bench provides a wash and a towel if the area needs a final clean.
A client should eat and drink before the session, especially for a larger pattern that runs longer than an hour. A client should wear clothing that can be rolled away from the wrist, hand or forearm, and should remove a ring or a watch from the area if the pattern crosses it.
A client who arrives more than fifteen minutes late may have the session shortened or moved to another row. The bench will do what it can to keep the appointment, but a late arrival cannot push the next client past the booked time without that client agreeing.
7. Rescheduling and Cancellation
A client may reschedule without charge up to forty eight hours before the session. A request inside that window is handled where a row is open, and the bench may apply a small rebooking fee where a batch was already rolled for the original date.
A cancellation made more than forty eight hours before the session is refunded in full. A cancellation inside forty eight hours is refunded at half the session fee, because the batch and the row cannot always be recovered at short notice. A cancellation made on the day of the session is not refundable unless a genuine emergency is shown.
When the bench cancels a session, the client receives a full refund or a priority rebooking, at the client choice. The bench will give as much notice as possible and will explain the reason. A bridal block that is affected by a cancellation is moved to the nearest available date before the event.
A no show is treated as a cancellation on the day of the session. The bench will hold the row for twenty minutes and will attempt to reach the client by phone before the booking is closed.
8. Fees and Payment
Fees are stated in the booking confirmation and are payable before the session unless the confirmation says otherwise. Payment is handled through a payment provider, and the bench does not accept a card number by email or over the phone.
A deposit may be requested for a bridal block or a travel session. The deposit is applied to the final amount. If the client cancels outside the refund window, the deposit is refunded under the same rules as the session fee.
A business project is quoted in writing before work begins. The quote states the scope, the deliverables, the fee and the payment schedule. Additional work outside the quoted scope requires a written change order before it is carried out.
A fee does not include travel beyond the local area, materials for a specially commissioned stencil or the cost of a venue. Those items are quoted separately and are accepted in writing before they are charged.
9. Event and Travel Sessions
The bench can travel to a small gathering within the Herriman area. A travel session is confirmed only when the venue, the arrival time, the number of guests and the pattern range are agreed in writing. The venue must provide a table, a chair, a power source for the lamp and a quiet corner where the paste can develop without being knocked.
A travel session has a minimum booked time. The minimum exists because the bench must pack, travel and set up before the first guest and clean down after the last, and those hours are part of the service. Travel beyond the local area is quoted separately, and the quote is based on distance and time.
The bench may end a travel session early if the venue is unsafe, if alcohol is being served in a way that threatens the cleanliness of the work or if guests cannot be kept in a calm queue. The unused time is refunded at the hourly rate, and the reason is recorded in writing.
10. Stain Results and Expectations
A henna stain develops differently on each person. Skin chemistry, body heat, the placement area and the time before the first wash all affect the final colour. The bench shares a typical range in the care sheet but does not promise a specific shade.
The bench does promise a clean application, a tested batch and a pattern that was checked on paper before it touched skin. If a stain comes out much lighter than the recorded result for that batch, the client should send a photograph within the first week, and the bench will review the case and offer a corrective session where it is appropriate.
A stain that fades quickly after a correct application and correct aftercare is not a fault of the bench. It may reflect the skin type or the season. The bench will explain the likely cause and will adjust the next session so that the record improves.
11. Aftercare Responsibilities
The client is responsible for the care of the stain after leaving the bench. The care sheet explains when to keep the wrap on, when to remove it, how to scrape the paste away and when to take the first wash. The client should follow it closely for the best result.
- Keep the paste dry for the first period stated on the care sheet.
- Remove the wrap only when the paste is dry and beginning to crack.
- Scrape the paste away with a flat tool rather than scrubbing it.
- Avoid swimming, sauna and long hot showers during the first days.
- Apply a plain oil or balm as advised to deepen the stain.
- Contact the bench promptly if the skin becomes sore, itchy or blistered.
The bench is not responsible for a poor result caused by a departure from the care sheet. The bench is responsible for the paste, the application and the written guidance, and it will review any case where the client followed the guidance and the result was still far from the record.
12. Conduct at the Bench
The bench is a small working room, and it stays calm when everyone who enters respects the space. A client should arrive sober, should keep the conversation suitable for a shared room and should keep children within reach while a session is in progress.
The bench team may ask a person to leave where that person is abusive, where a request crosses a boundary or where the room cannot be kept safe. A session that is ended for conduct is treated as a cancellation on the day, and the reason is recorded.
The client should not touch the paste, the cones or the tools without an invitation. A cone that is squeezed at the wrong end will split, and a tool that is moved from its place will slow the next session. These small rules keep the bench reliable for everyone who follows.
13. Patterns and Intellectual Property
The stencil cards, test sheets and pattern library belong to HennaArt by Tasz LLC. A client receives the stain on skin, but the pattern remains part of the library and may be used again for another client or adapted for a new design.
A client who supplies a reference or a personal design grants the bench permission to reproduce it for that client session. The bench will not publish that design or use it for another client without a separate permission. A widely shared cultural pattern is handled with care, and the bench will explain the origin and the limits of its use before the session.
The text, layout, code and images on the website belong to the practice unless a credit says otherwise. A visitor may not copy the site content for a commercial purpose. Small quotations for a review or a news item are welcome where the source is credited.
14. Photographs and Media Consent
The bench may photograph a finished pattern for the stain record. The photograph is kept for the quality log and is not published without a separate written permission. A client can ask to have the photograph deleted at any time, and the bench will confirm the deletion.
Where a client gives permission for a photograph to appear on the website or a social platform, the permission names the exact use. A permission for the website does not cover a social platform, and a permission for a hand photograph does not cover a face. The bench will not stretch a permission beyond what was agreed.
A guest at an event session should tell the bench before the session if the guest does not want a photograph taken. The request is recorded and the bench will avoid the camera for that guest without any need for an explanation.
15. Design and Documentation Projects
The professional side of the practice delivers small documentation and computer systems design projects. A project begins with a written brief, a quote and a schedule. The brief describes the deliverable, the level of detail and the review points at which the client can comment.
The client is responsible for supplying accurate information and for the access needed to describe a process or a system. A delay in supplying information may move the schedule, and the bench will confirm any new date in writing rather than assume it.
Unless the quote says otherwise, the client receives a license to use the delivered document or design within the client organization. The bench retains the working files and the right to describe the general method in its own material. A request for an exclusive assignment of the working files must be agreed before the project begins.
Invoices for a project are payable on the schedule in the quote. A late payment may pause the remaining work, and the bench will give notice before a pause takes effect.
16. Confidentiality
The bench treats client information as private. Session notes, project briefs and contact details are shared only with the people who need them to deliver the work, as described in the Privacy Policy. A member of the bench team who handles a record is bound by a duty of confidence.
A client may share a confidential business detail with the bench as part of a project. The bench will keep that detail within the project, will not discuss it with another client and will return or delete it at the end of the engagement where the agreement requires it.
Confidentiality does not apply to information that is already public, that the bench already held before the engagement or that the law requires the bench to disclose. Where a disclosure is required, the bench will give the client as much notice as the law allows.
17. Limitation of Liability
The bench delivers its services with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, the practice is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a loss of profit or for a result that follows a departure from the written aftercare guidance.
Where a claim concerns a session, the maximum liability of the practice is limited to the fee paid for that session. Where a claim concerns a project, the maximum liability is limited to the fee paid for that project. These limits do not apply to a liability that cannot be limited by law.
The bench does not exclude liability for death, personal injury or fraud. A client who experiences a reaction to the paste should seek medical advice promptly and should tell the bench so that the batch record can be reviewed.
The website is provided as it stands. The bench aims to keep the content accurate and current, but it does not promise that the site will always be available or that every detail will be free from error. A visitor should confirm a price or a date with the bench before relying on it.
18. Indemnity
A client agrees to cover the reasonable cost of a claim that arises from the misuse of the service, from a pattern supplied by the client that infringes another right or from a breach of these terms. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim is caused by the client conduct.
The bench will notify the client promptly of any claim and will allow the client to take part in the response. The bench will not settle a claim in a way that admits a fault on the part of the client without the client agreeing in writing.
This section does not apply to a claim that is caused by the bench or by a member of the bench team. In that case the liability section above governs the outcome.
19. Suspension and Termination
The bench may decline or end a booking where a client breaches these terms, where the safety of the room is at risk or where a payment remains unpaid after a reasonable reminder. The client receives a written reason and a chance to respond where the situation allows.
A client may end the relationship at any time. A cancellation of a future session follows the rescheduling and cancellation section. A cancellation of a project follows the schedule in the project quote, and work that has already been delivered remains payable.
When a relationship ends, the bench keeps the records that the Privacy Policy requires and deletes the rest. Access to a project folder is removed, and the client receives a final statement of the amount due or the amount to be refunded.
20. Disputes and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to a conflict of law rule. A dispute should first be raised with the bench in writing, because most concerns can be settled by a short conversation and a clear record.
If a direct conversation does not settle the matter, the parties agree to try a mediation session in Salt Lake County before starting a court action. The cost of mediation is shared unless the mediator decides otherwise. A party may still seek urgent relief from a court where a delay would cause harm.
A legal action that is not settled by mediation may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Utah. A client who lives outside Utah should understand that the bench is a Utah business and that the courts of Utah are the natural forum for a dispute about these terms.
21. Changes to These Terms
These terms are reviewed at least once a year and whenever the bench changes a service or a fee rule. A material change is dated at the top of the page, and a client with an active booking is told by email where an address is available.
A client who books after a change accepts the updated terms. A client who made a booking before a change is governed by the version that was current at the time of the booking, unless the client agrees to the new version in writing.
A visitor can always read the current version on this page. If a change removes a right that a client relied on, the bench will explain the reason and the alternative that is available.
22. Contact and Notices
Notices under these terms should be sent in writing to HennaArt by Tasz LLC, 6496 W Ipswitch Way, Herriman - 84096-3008, United States (US). Email notices may be sent to bookings@hennaarttasz.lat and phone messages may be left at +16089053161.
A notice is treated as received on the second working day after it is sent by email or on the third working day after it is posted by mail. A client should keep a copy of a notice and should state the booking reference where one exists.
The bench prefers a direct conversation before a formal notice. A call or a short email often resolves a question about a date, a fee or a care instruction, and the record of that conversation is added to the booking file. Questions about how records are kept are answered in the Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these terms.
